Liberty Street Tree Planting & Stewardship Workshop

Liberty Street is about to be more green! Local organizations, property owners, and residents have come together to plant trees from Broadway to First Street.

Join us on Thursday & Friday as a volunteer and help with tasks like mulching, watering and installing gators and stakes.

On Saturday, attend a workshop to learn about the new trees and how we can take care of them. We will learn
• Planting Techniques
• Water & Soil Management
• Benefits & Importance of Trees

Workshop is open to anyone interested in street trees. Ask us questions about planting trees and feel free to share any photos of your own tree .

Our goal is to incrementally restore Newburgh's Tree Canopy while building community and a culture of tree stewardship. To support this effort please make a donation to Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy.
